Dream Job

Today’s my Friday! And if I’m looking at my calendar correctly, I’m guessing it might be your Friday, too. That means it’s time for the TBTL weekly newsletter! I hope this finds you well.

The big news this week is that we are getting SO CLOSE to someone guessing the location of the new TBTL billboard. More on that in a moment. First, though, let’s start with smaller news:

1. On Wednesday’s edition of the podcast, Luke and I (very briefly!) discussed dreams that we’d both had recently. His involved TBTL friendo Hari Kondabolu and some sort of music festival they attended. My dream involved a stapler - specifically, a mini stapler, the kind I had as a kid. The only thing I remember about the dream is that I was searching all over for one. I needed to have a mini stapler for some reason. Later that day, I got this email from Listener Sarah:

2. This has nothing to do with TBTL, but did you know there was a Scrabble game show that aired in the 1980s? Did you know that it was hosted by Chuck Woolery? I saw something about this on Reddit yesterday, and I thought it was all brand new information to me. But then I found an old episode on YouTube, and I TOTALLY remember this show now! Talk about a warm, fuzzy flashback. I thought maybe you’d enjoy it too.

3. Yays and Nays! I received an email from Listener Darryn this week that contained both a yay and a nay! Which reminded me that we need to do another roundup in an upcoming newsletter. If you don’t know what I’m talking about (as if), you can check out earlier editions here and here. Send your yays and nays to me via email and keep your eyes peeled for another edition coming soon.

4. Now, let’s get to the Great TBTL Billboard Hunt, shall we? Jon hopped on the show with us earlier today with more clues (and some newly revealed info) about where our very first TBTL billboard is going up. If you missed that or any of the previous clues, here’s a roundup from Jon:
