I’m sorry. You know what? That’s not the definition of a card. That’s the definition of chard. My mistake. 

We are not here today to talk about chard (although I’m not averse to the topic.) We’re here to talk about CARDS. Specifically, holiday cards. Even more specifically, the TBTL Holiday Card Exchange!

Meanwhile, I believe you wanted to talk about chard? Okay, I will do my best. Here is a list of my Top Five Leafy Vegetables: 

5. Collard greens (in moderation)

4. Arugula (in my salad)

3. Bok Choy (in my stir fry) 

2. Romaine lettuce (in my salad, on my sandwich, in my pita)

1. Spinach (any which way but creamed) 

Damn. Chard still didn’t make the list. Sorry about that. Maybe I should have made it a Top Six list. Or maybe Top Seven?

What’s your name and where do you live? 
Jamie Carpenter. Bloomington, MN.

When did you start listening to TBTL? How did you find the show?
I started listening when Ross and Burbank went off the air and had a morning show listening hole in my heart and ear holes.  I enjoyed the patter that the guys and team had, so I went out and found TBTL in my pod-catcher, and the rest is history. I had also just moved from Seattle to Spokane, so it really helped me stay connected to the city and my imaginary friendos when I was out trying to make new friends in a new city.

How would your friends describe you?
Giver of the best decorated cards!  Also fiercely loyal, go with the flow, fantastic cook, outdoor enthusiast, kind, great listener, organized, and full of love to give.

What was your favorite cereal when you were a kid? Is it still your fav? 
We didn't have a lot of the fun sugary cereals in the house when I was a kid, so it was Raisin Bran with Grape Nuts with extra raisins and extra sugar.  When I got out on my own, Cap'n Crunch was my jam! And I still love it to this day.  

What food do you love to eat the most of?
Cheese... all the cheeses!  Being a Wisconsin native, it comes with the territory.

What’s the best or worst nickname you ever had?
The worst nickname had to be Bubble Butt in elementary school. Who knew that would actually become a positive thing!

If you could play one song on TBTL, what would it be?
We've Only Just Begun by The Carpenters. I feel this embodies what TBTL is, and here we all are rounding the corner for 5,000 Episodes. 

What’s a special skill that you have?
My artistic talent. I haven't been able to do much art over the past decade, but if you have received a card from me, it will be decorated with love! Keep a look out for those holiday cards :)

What’s a skill you *wish* you had?
That one is a head scratcher. I guess I would have to say being more quick witted.  My artistic brain isn't so great... how do you say... with words ....

If you were driving down the street and you saw Luke and Andrew on the sidewalk, what would you yell at them as you drove past?
“AH-Hoy-Hoy Co-Bro's!!!”
