Let me confirm that the rumors are true: The TBTL Holiday Party is just two weeks away! Luke, Jon and I are gathering with you, the Tens of listeners, via Zoom on Friday, December 19th at 5pm Pacific Time (8pm ET). It’s a real laid-back affair; We’ll be sipping some nog, sharing some stories, and generally basking in the holiday glow emanating from our laptops. This year’s gathering is going to focus on holiday traditions, so be ready to share a holiday custom that is important to you or your family. Maybe you visit the same Christmas tree farm every year. Maybe you always watch the same movie on Christmas Eve. Maybe you tie your left wrist to your sibling’s left wrist, then arm yourselves with sharpened candy canes and fight until someone cries “KRAMPUS!” Whatever it is, we want to hear it! Or maybe, just maybe, you don’t want to talk at all. That’s fine, too! You are more than welcome to just chill and take in the scene. We’re not going to call on you unless you want us to. So, that’s how it works! You sign-up, you show up, and you laugh with your friends for an hour or so. I hope you can make it! Meanwhile, I have to wrap this up now. A new security guard just came on duty at the bookstore, and he’s giving me a funny look, as if I shouldn’t have set up a table in the Hungarian Erotica section to get my work done.
